Re: previous post picture problem

Those with smart phones have had a hard time getting the picture from the previous post to pull up.  So, I'll describe it for you :0).  It's a picture of my Bible opened to 1 Samuel 1:20--"She named him Samuel, saying Because I asked the Lord for him."

(We can't wait to meet our Samuel!)

And he will be called....

Summer Redesign

When this summer started, I was expecting to spend most of my time getting paperwork together for the adoption agency to send to Russia and to settle in for the long wait for a match with a baby.  But, God completely changed our summer plans with the phone call that we got on June 19th that started with "we have this baby.."  Now here I sit, a little over a month later, with all the paperwork complete and the money paid!
And, it's all because of our AMAZING God.

Your story is one with amazing details that serve as faith-builders.

To God be the Glory

This morning we were able to mail the acceptance papers and a check for $25,000!!!  God has truly worked a miracle that leaves us amazed by His faithfulness!!  His goodness overwhelms me and leaves me speechless.  To God be the Glory, great things He has done....

"1. I will sing of the Lord's great love forever; with my mouth I will make your faithfulness known through all generations.  2. I will declare that your love stands firm forever, that you established your faithfulness in heaven itself.  6. For who in the skies above can compare with the Lord?  Who is like the Lord among the heavenly beings?  8. O Lord God Almighty, who is like you?  You are mighty, O Lord, and your faithfulness surrounds you."  Psalm 89

El Shaddai--the All Sufficient God

God has been very, very busy...He has provided us with 92% of the money that we need, and he provided all of this within a week's time!!  He used some very special people in two states (and a Louisiana yard sale) as vessels for this, and we are so very thankful that they heard and answered God's prompting!!  We are humbled by El Shaddai, the All Sufficient God.  He is worthy of all praise and honor.

Just a Quick Note

We are in the middle of a miracle, and it blows me away!!  I am amazed by the God that we serve....

"Praise the Lord.
Praise God in his sanctuary; praise him in his mighty heavens.
